Reeco The Recommender is a mobile concierge application which supports people in their daily life. Serving as virtual private assistant it recommends web content such as offers, restaurant reviews or public transport possibilities based on the user context and preferences. It perceives the user situation and adapts its behavior and provides a better solution (i.e., the services offered). The system is developed in a generic way which is inspired from the RSS feed approach. It allows to create services for “Reeco” with a small effort for 3rd party companies. Besides this , the Reecosystem is totally private and safe. That means none of the user information leaves the device. (Android, utilizes LBS).
